Just a tad loose in the collar. I ordered 16 1/2". The collar measures 16 3/4" from center of button to center of hole. Otherwise, it fits like a traditionally cut shirt. The shirt comes with the silver tie shown and it's good quality but the tie is quite wrinkled from packaging. I rolled it up to hopefully flatten it. The narrow collar does not look great with any tie. The collar looks good unbuttoned so IMO, this is a shirt for a well dressed but casual look.
