The Toshiba MK8025GAS 2.5-inch hard drive is one of the least power-hungry hard drives in its class. A 4,200 RPM platter speed provides good read and write speeds, as does the 8 MB cache. This 80 GB hard drive can read at about 15 MBps. Plus, the Toshiba MK8025GAS writes at roughly the same speed. Thanks to its high density platters, the 80 GB hard drive fits in a very small package, and weighs just 3.5 ounces.
