The 2002-2003 season promised so much for Arsenal but, in the end, saw them finish with only the FA Cup to show for their efforts. With Thierry Henry in particularly fine form, Arsenal's dazzling style in the early part of the season attracted a raft of superlatives. But although they led the Premiership for much of the campaign, injuries and suspensions caught up with the teams and a loss of form saw Manchester United pip them to the Championship. In Europe too they failed to achieve their potential but victory in the FA Cup over Southampton ensured that they didn't end up without a trophy. Despite the disappointments, this review is packed with an astonishing 119 goals scored during the season and plenty of breathtaking football to relive.
