I have a similar Grundig G5 radio, and on the G3 I bought you have to turn the volume up twice as loud to hear a station. When using an external antenna on Shortwave with the antenna jack the radio generates ghost signals that interfere with the station you are trying to hear. The scan feature doesn’t work on the Air band. Also the flipout stand was broken and glued together (see pic).
