I removed it completely and took it to my local hardware store. They replaced the o-ring and added a second on the bottom and tightened it up for me. It now works well. The problem was the urn was only loosely packed with paper - no bubble wrap, peanuts or other cushioning material. It slid around in the box during shipping, which was why the spigot was jarred loose. Otherwise, I love the urn.
