This decreases the carbon footprint of each device. The Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 ST3250318AS is an internal hard disk with a 3.5-inch form factor. An OEM ST3250318AS is a bare drive. Each one weighs less than a pound and measures 6 by 4 by 1 inches. This size of HDD is typically installed in a 3.5-inch drive bay inside a desktop computer. You can use this to build your own computers or repair existing ones. It can fit in all types of cases ranging from full-sized towers to smaller home theater enclosures. It’s also possible to use this internal hard disk externally with a hard drive enclosure. You’ll just need a 3.5-inch enclosure with a SATA data connection. You can then bring it along on your travels to use as a portable hard drive.The ST3250318AS HDD requires power, which it receives through a standard Molex connection. When used in a desktop computer, that connection will come from the power supply unit. When used in an HDD enclosure, the hard drive will still connect internally to Molex.
