They did arrive factory sealed, but the only issue is that they were sent from the factory with batteries installed. The batteries have leaked acid and corroded the terminals – some worse than others. I expected this since this was the case with some I purchased a few years ago. With a little cleanup, they still work. I just wish the factory had shipped them with batteries not installed or not included.
