If you buy one with electronics, it will work with an amplifier. You'll connect a guitar cable to the base of the body. It doesn't have a built in tuner (just in case you were expecting one like with many electric/acoustic guitars). Slow shipping, but it was imported, so the shipping is reasonable given the size of the box.
