I bought this one to place in my seldomly used car; thus, I took a chance and purchased the "Certified Open Box" unit. To my surprise, they've added couple of round stickers to make the suction cup permanently mountable, which will address the issue of the unit falling off when sitting in the car for long periods of time. Otherwise, the unit is like new and all of the packaging is new.

When buying, purchase a bag of extra fastening clips for dashcam cords, as this one comes with 3-4, but you need at least 15 fasteners for your windshield to make the cord nice and neat. Highly recommended! 10-10! Can view all history from my last week of driving, and videos self delete after storage is full with oldest dissapearing first.
