Simply connect the device to the OBD-2 port in your car and turn the car on. Search for the scanner in your Android phone's or tablet's Bluetooth device list (if prompted for a Bluetooth pairing code, enter 1234 then ok) then install any of the OBD-2 apps from the Google Play Store. So far, I've tried the Car Scanner app, the OBDocker app and the Piston app and they all work for free with this scanner. Many thanks
