The part had a one year warranty, but it failed almost immediately. I did drive the vehicle for about 4500 miles after installing it, but it was leaking and growling. I did not trust it to get me home from SC to Michigan. so replaced it there. After several messages back and forth, seller did agree to a pro rated return of 69% of the purchase price, based upon the 8 months of the warranteed 12 months since I ordered it. It should have been 100% -no pro rating!
