The Vanguard pan head tripod has a sliding center column. The legs on the Vanguard MK-1 tripod feature lever-locking systems, which ensure stability in positioning. The legs also feature braces to the center column and rubber feet. Each leg on the tripod features three sections for maximum versatility when shooting both film and video. The minimum height for the Vanguard floor standing tripod is 20.5 inches and the maximum height is 52 inches. The height of the tripod makes it an ideal middle range tripod.
