Set in the fast-paced world of 1950s London, this skillful, noirish television program follows Jericho (Robert Lindsay) as he tries to keep his head in the rapidly changing city. Included here are four episodes: "Pair of Ragged Claws," which deals with the racially motivated murder of a young black man and a wealthy businessman's apparent kidnapping; "The Killing of Johnny Swan," which concerns the mysterious death of a famed athlete on the cusp of a much-hyped rematch with the champion of the Soviet Union; "To Murder and Create," which finds Jericho investigating the suspicious murder of an atomic weapons scientist on Valentine's Day; and "The Hollow Men," a taut episode which follows the investigation of a serial killer on the hunt for couples.
