Given the geometry of the bobbins, these pickups are very close to the size of "Firebird" or "mini-bucker" pickups. To my ear, they're very close in tone, but wound hotter than most "mini humbuckers". I installed them yesterday in a Firefly DC Jr. and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Great value, price and excellent construction.
