Just had it installed by service shop, and it fit and works well. An additional valve was required that shop was able to procure locally. Solved noisy start-up and check engine light issue. Very pleased to be able to source difficult to find Smart car parts since Mercedes quit handling them. Saved bundles of $$ by getting the pump myself and having my trusted shop do the service rather than Mercedes.
