I'm going to rate this as a positive purchase, because at the end of the day, it worked out for me. I had recoil problems immediately upon installing the new pull starter and I'm guessing someone else bought this and returned it in this condition. I simply used the spring mechanism from my old recoil starter because that particular part was still good. So all in all, My starter now works perfectly.
