The groove didn't fit over the wires, it was too small (trying to put over standard mobile phone USB wire. Tried heating it up to make it a bit more flexible but even that didn't work. Wasted my money.

Every name charger clip is tested on a standard iPhone cable before it is sent out. The advert specifies the width of the cable. Sorry these didn't fit your particular cable, we cannot cater for every version.
