    Whilst it is 'as described', it won't fit into the OE Lucas container like the original does, so on a car where it's fitted to the bulkhead in the engine bay i.e. Triumph Dolomite etc. etc. there is no way to secure it, and it also leaves the unit open to potential contamination. So for me, I can't recommend it to everyone, I'm afraid.

    Hundereds of these units has been sold with no complaints, they are designed to replace the plug in type of Lucas stabilisers. THEY ARE NOT DESIGNED TO MOUNT INSIDE THE OLD HOUSING!!! If you required the type that attaches to the bulk head you should have ordered the CCVS1 type stabiliser with mounting tab. A quick message could have sorted this and exchange arranged.
