- g***0 (469)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseWas told by seller this fit my atv. It does thread on but is about 1/2" short leaving almost 2" of fuel in bottom not measured. I know it needs to have some space but measure tape says it's over 1" from bottom of tank. Still works though. So happy. Seller recommended 1/2" from bottom of tank clearance but is over an inch. Should of been 1/2" longer 98 500 sportsman. Also not sellers fault the cap sits higher on tank threads then OEM cap. So it reads 7/8ths when actually full.

All gauges on Sportsman and other Polaris models let you know when you are down to 1/4 to 1/3 of a tank, depending on the model.
