La vittima prescelta è il povero Brian, un ragazzo con problemi mentali, che ha come unica colpa quella di essere il fratello di un potente e severo procuratore distrettuale. Ma anche questo squallido e di certo non improbo compito sembra essere troppo per Larry, che viene così affiancato alla bellissima Ricky, uno dei gangster più violenti e spietati che ci siano in circolazione. Questa vicinanza non sembra portare a nulla di buono. I due complici stanno per infrangere la prima legge del codice della malavita: mai mischiare il lavoro con i sentimenti.
