I purchase a pair of these because they looked great but also because I was having eye surgery and the tint looked as if it would help in blocking out the light which would cause extra pain on top of what I was already suffering. Sorry for such a late reply. I'm glad to have purchased these sunglasses. The service has been great and so was the price and shipping speed. I can't wait to get it. I'm in a different country. I love silver but it tarnish so easily. I think the rhodium is the answer. It probably looks like white gold.
