Supplied key has positive engagement yet unless cranked on tight with cheater bar still has a tendency for drill bit to slip under load. but noi too bad just worthy of mention. Some machinists actually do this on purpose to help prevent shock as a dampener typically during the drill out experienced in think metals. Also chuck has a bit of runout compared to traditional Jacobs but expected for the money.
