I was swapped out my HD from my dead unit and my software worked as expected. I would complain about the price but no one is buying these models for the value anymore ... instead, like me, they have a software installation that needs to be preserved and requires near identical hardware. My only complaint shipping. I paid extra for expedited shipping and it arrived in 6 days instead of the cheaper 8. Next time I will get a fedex label.
