- o***n (5)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseMacBooks not as advertised. I understand that they are untested but here are the issues i have found. 1. One of the MacBooks are an A1212 model (Late 2006). Yet i bought a Mid 2007 A1229 lot. 2. The A1229 is lacking a hard drive cable, but this is not a problem as the MacBook shows no signs of life 3. None of them worked well. The A1229 was completely dead. Almost if the motherboard was shorted, the A1212 on the other hand, booted but the display was flickering and no external feedback on my TV
