I found out why: some damaged / broken hardware that needed replacing; item had clearly been “fiddled with”. But appearance-wise, absolutely beautiful. Price was right. Shipping / packaging was excellent. Have decided to use this as a modification ‘mule” for a couple of other guitars that I own; it’s one of the nicest Epiphone-copy G***on Les Paul models I’ve seen. Solid construction, fabulous finish!
