The cache is a small memory pool that can store important data on the CPU. Thanks to Intel's Smart Cache technology, this device allows all four cores to dynamically share access to this pool, reducing latency and improving bandwidth.The i7 family of processors has been designed from the ground up to take advantage of the most powerful desktop computers. In place of the old front-side bus design, Intel has created a new architecture called Quick Path Interconnect.
