Very happy with this trumpet! Love the color, and it was a revelation as like saxophones, mouthpieces personally had a greater effect on tone although its tone is unique. It compliments my vintage Reynolds perfectly, as it has more of a pierce and brightness to the projection, while the Reynolds is fuller. It showed me what's special about the Reynolds, while also offering a new tone palette when needed. The action is also great and will do my best now to get the Reynolds action as nice.

The horn coming from a trumpet shop was listed as reconditioned. I took the horn to a reputable shop for repairs. The lead pipe receiver was bent down, some rough spots in the surface of the #2 piston were smoothed out at the bottom of the piston, dents in the #1 and #2 slide crooks were removed, and the horn was thoroughly cleaned. I realize I got a good deal on the horn but to say it was reconditioned is an exaggeration. It was very dirty inside.
