I hated the chrome look when I first purchased my nautilus so I used a heat gun to remove the chrome trim. However I was left with a mess. I tried to cover up with the laminate trim pieces, but they didn't hold long term with highway driving. I wish I had done this from the start. It took me about two hours on the first door but about 30-45minutes on each door after. Extremely happy with the results now the car looks like new.
