      These L5420 Xeon's can bet used with many LGA775 motherboards with the application off a special pin sticker (Available on eBay). I use the MSI G31 & G41 series of motherboards. When looking for "Best Bang for your Buck" is also tempered with Best performance per Watt, These L5420's compare very favorably against the X54 & E54 variants, In fact only doing your own performance tests is likely to show this. And as this seller persists in giving me an extra cpu each time, I'm very pleased indeed.
