After a day hard on the internet, it kept disconnecting and dragged while surfing. Put in a new wifi dongle and it works great. At times Win 11 seems a little quirky, not sure if it is Windows or the machine, but so far very pleased. Want to explore how Windows 11 was installed on a lower generation 8 intel cpu and if that can explain the small quirk. Updated all which helped.
