The item is truly plastic, but looks okay.. the leather cover on the other hand looks great. I wasnt aware of the "hight" of the armrest.. its wery high up.., so one have to lift the arm up high, and It makes it hard to relax when you shift gear, special 5 gear.. i recommend to try find an arm rest that is like the originals in most cars.. this is aprox 5 centimeter to high according to my opinion. I am 179 cm tall, a common size, and it doesent make me relax as it should. But it works though
