I don't think the lamp is is old cuz they didn't start making plastic gloves and throwing in the 60s so it's not that old it's not vintage so you have a good day thank you

Michigan Engineering 1950 Plastic Panels replaced broken glass panels in the state.1956 illuminating engineering said 8lb plastic globes replaced Glass. In 1962 Modern plastics say that Large Plastic globes are replacing Glass ones That was reported world wide.1962 Project engineering announced Plastics casing and globes being installed in LI NY to prevent rust damage.In 1963 Cali reports similar installations.
