I wish you had reached out to me, I had 20 of those and the only test we did was to measure the DC resistance to insure that the coils were good. I put one in my Peavey 500 mixer and it made the reverb much "smoother" than the original 2 spring. If you asked to return it I would gladly refunded the purchase price.
