I own a pair of Sophia 300b 2.5v tubes from 2002 which sound - wonderful (Tektron TK2 45/50 amp). Recently listening to 2A3 tubes in this and have a handful of new (chicom, russian) 2A3 tubes as well as old (RCA, Tung-Sol) and, based on prior experience with Sophia Electric, bought these and have been listening for several days now. Maybe 20+ hours’ play.
Amazing reproduction, nearly as good as 80 year old tubes, getting richer by the hour. Highly recommended. Buy with confidence.
