The DUCATI OEM clutch lever has a bronze sleeve bearing inserted in the mounting hole. Without it, the clutch lever is very difficult to downshift, as the lever does not return from the down position without manual force. My solution was to cutoff the aftermarket lever, drill & tapped a M6 thread, drilled a hole through the OEM (broken pedal), and then bolted the OEM lever to this aftermarket pedal.
