Worked finally great, but I was lacking the pinout of the 9P DB RS232 connector (cant be found online or in ebay listing), and believe it should be a MALE instead of FEMALE connector (PC's have MALE, this is not a PC, therefore it should be FEMALE). Further, the TxD and RxD seems to be flipped, as using a regular tested RS-232 standard cable between the relay and pc / amiga did not work until i flipped those pins. Once all of that, it worked as described per. documentation of BITS and BYTES.

These are wireless serial transceivers. They can be used to set up a wireless serial connection spanning a couple hundred feet. There are multiple models depending on the interface needed. I bought the TTL and also USB ones. They can be used in a "transparent" mode which let's them act like a long invisible serial cable. They can also be used like a shared media serial bus where all the modules recieve data sent from a master. For like $6 each including antennas They are awesome!

Works better then I expected. Purchased the 5V boards and I am using them in place of a the 7805. It does not get as hot and no issues so far. Very pleased with my purchase.
