Powered by four AA alkaline, AA NiCd, or Ni-MH batteries, the Sigma EF-610 can take between 120 and 160 flashes depending on the type of battery used. Equipped with an automatic power-off function, the features of this shoe mount flash help save battery power. To ensure easy operation, the Sigma EF-610 also features TTL automatic flash exposure control and an autozoom function that sets the optimum illumination angle for the user. With a manual flash mode, this shoe mount flash is perfect for both beginner and intermediate level photographers. The Sigma flash for Sony has a focal range of 24 mm to 105 mm and can cover a 17 mm angle when the user implements the flash unit's built-in wide panel feature. In addition, recycle time for the Sigma EF-610 is approximately five to seven seconds. For bounce flash with the Sigma EF-610, the flashgun head can be tilted by 90 or 180 degrees, allowing for close-up photography. At 3.0 x 5.5 x 4.6 inches, the Sigma flash for Sony is made for easy transportation and suitable for any compatible Sony camera.
