The Apple iPod classic features a USB connection cable that is used for music transfers and charging. A built-in battery can play music for 12 continuous hours before it needs to be charged again. The standby battery mode on the MP3 player is good for up to 30 days before charging is needed. The Apple company has built the MP3 device to work with the iTunes software applications.
