It turned the low powered (88-92MHz) non-commercial stations I listen to from sort of listenable to full-quieting, at least in mono, without over-driving the stations on the commercial end of the FM band.

I had to reinforce it with electrical tape. Saying that I did pickup 20 channels. 5 more than a paper clip.
