I was told the item had been canceled successfully but on further examination I discovered that e-bay was still stating that the cancellation was pending. After waiting the better part of the day to have e-bay confirm the cancellation I notified the seller that e-bay had not confirmed it and speculated on the reason. I would expect if the cancellation was successful as he claimed e-bay would automatically affirm the fact.
