It was still a good price for this era and quality of rod. Shipping on rods is always high due to the length. Shipping took an abnormal time - not the sellers fault as they have no control over this. Packaging was poor. Seller used priory boxes and made a long triangular tube. Tube didn’t make it in 1 piece, but rod survived - giving testament to its durability.
