I removed the case it looked fine. when I put the guitar in there was about a 1/2" gap at the bottom of the case. The same place where there was damage on the box. I manipulated the aluminum rim as it looked a little bent and was able to get it to seat correctly. I would say that had more to do with the carrier than the seller. The case is nice and light and the handle feels great and is situated to make it very balanced.
