    The lock is junk. Probably returned items resold. I installed it and have done many locks in rentals for years. It just locks. Then unlocks instantly automatically. It never stays locked. Something wrong with the programming or gears. It just returns to unlock. So frustrating. I tried for hours. I went and bought a new one. The same exact model and no issues with my new one at all. Simple 10 min install. Thanks for the headache.

    Lock was new in a totally sealed plastic bubble container. A scissors had to be used to open it. He never asked for a return??
