    "La Strada" is a not so familiar Anthony Quinn film from the early '50's. It is in Italian which presents a challenge to read subtitles quicly and keep up with the dialogue. It is a simple story, however, and is easy to follow. Quinn's acting is good as usual and he makes a good clown acrobat in the traveling circus. It portrays the people of Italy at that time trying to recover from WWII and makes for insightful viewing. It would be interesting to most viewers. I recommend it overall.
