However it wont fit my 1960 Enfield constellation/super meteor. It's the larger capacity tank, which is fine as I have the later frame. Tank is 8/9cm longer tham my original, which means it won't fit between the headstock and the frame rails. Pushing it forward as far as possible, so the mounting hole is out, won't get it to sit. It is also very close to the engine, even though its not sat on the frame. Shame.
