    Item not as described. Misleading in country of origin, attributes and use. Expensive shipping, no guaranteed returns. Value was increased beyond worth after discovering the description was not accurate. These dishes were not "hand blown", nor were they from USA but Germany, were Crate & Barrel and discovered 1 salad plate where the original sticker had not been removed "HAND WASH ONLY" "Do Not Microwave" and Made in Germany. Returns are so expensive it's not worth doing. Tried seller first.

    I provided a free return label via eBay buyer protection and offered a full refund of the dishes if they were returned undamaged. The buyer never asked about plate safety before purchase especially after seeing that the listing did not state if they were or not, then damaged them by washing after seeing the sticker I failed to notice. This was an innocent oversight on my part. She has since refused the return, has stopped responding, and left a deceptive, misleading review omitting these facts.
