The GPU fan is NOT 100% compatible with the Alienware Area-51m R2. While both the CPU and GPU fans use 4 wires, they have a 5-pin connector. The CPU fan has the correct connector. The GPU fan has a 4-pin connector. In order to get this to work, I had to remove the wires from my old fan and solder them to the new one. I wasn't crazy about that, and the only thing that saved this from being a Negative is the fact that if you look closely at the pictures, you can see the 4-pin connector.
