I was so happy with how well this light was packaged. First the glass globe was stuffed tight with news papers, then a layer of paper, bubble wrap, cling wrap, and cardboard cut to fit the shape of the globe, then more cling wrap. The top and bottom heavy metal pieces were also wrapped in paper & bubble wrap and separated from the globe by cardboard pieces. Then packing peanuts and more layers of cardboard. I am so glad they did because it is perfect - exactly as described. I love it.
