The fan was packaged well in bubble wrap to protect it during shipment. This fan has breathed new life into an old Technics receiver that kept shutting off with overload message. Apparently the receiver knows if the fan is functional and an external fan will not help cool the unit to fix the overload issue. This fan has the right voltage, wattage, and same 2 pin plug to replace the Nidec fan.
