Seller Notes: “Good-Very Good overall vint cond: For sale is this quite scarce, auth, orig, mid-20th c Chinese ... “Good-Very Good overall vint cond: For sale is this quite scarce, auth, orig, mid-20th c Chinese vint Communist Party officially sanctioned propaganda poster, in the form of a 2 ink pass color serigraph on paper, feat the image of Communist Party Chairman Mao Zedong emblazoned in the center of the sun, w/cascading rays of sunlight, falling upon workers, peasants & students, all holding little red books or the ideological communist pamphlets by Mao. The broadside was prod to most likely be wheat pasted onto building's walls, columns, store roll cage doors, information kiosks & bus stops. The lg, 30 1⁄4" H x 20 5⁄8" W serigraph/color silkscreen on paper isn't laid down or affixed to board or pc of foam core. Its edges are intact & the poster suffers from little if any color degradation & its outside margins & corners are lrgly intact & don't exhibit any noticeable damage. There's a very sm paper tear in the top left corner, which has been stabilized w/acid-free clear tape. Gang of 4 era.”
